positions that provide you with college credit and/or experience in
the music industry. Some internships can lead to paying
positions in some companies.
EMI Film & TV Music Intern

Description: |
EMI FILM & TV MUSIC DEPARTMENT is
looking for summer interns. Intern
duties include internet research,
creating Excel spreadsheets, and
organizing/maintaining our extensive
library of titles. This is an
extremely busy office and interns
will also work with the contract
administrator to proof-read
documents. |

Requirements: |
Students with junior or senior
standing, studying Music
Business/Marketing, or Writing.
Strong organizational skills,
extremely high proficiency with
computers a must. Applicants must
have very strong
writing/proof-reading skills.
Serious, dedicated students with a
desire to learn about the business
side of the music industry. Previous
internship experience is helpful.

Requirements: |
MTV Networks Intern Program is
geared toward upperclassmen
(juniors/seniors), eligible
sophomores and law students. The
program runs during the Fall, Spring
and Summer semesters. Students must
be registered for an internship for
academic credit with their college
or university, and must provide
official documentation on school
letterhead confirming this
information upon acceptance of the
internship. The program runs for a
minimum of 10 weeks (excluding
weekends). Students must be
available to work a minimum of two
full days per week. Application
dates for resume submissions are
rolling. |

20TH Century Fox - Book
Scouting Intern

Description: |
We are the book
scouting office for Fox 2000 (THE
DEVIL WEARS PRADA, WALK THE LINE,
etc.) and Twentieth Century Fox. Our
primary responsibility is to cover
the literary world for our studio.
In short, we read books and
determine whether or not they are
suitable for big screen adaptation.
We’re looking for interns to read
and write coverage of books, as well
as assist us with general
administrative tasks. (copying, data
entry, etc.) Our interns are a
critical part of our day-to-day
functioning. The more they
demonstrate they can do, the more
they get to do. It’s a great way to
learn a very interesting business,
make contacts and get your foot in
the door in a very competitive
field. Our interns have gone onto
jobs at CAA, The William Morris
Agency, Focus Features, Scott Rudin
Productions and many more. |

Requirements: |
**We only accept
undergraduate and graduate students.
College credit is available. You
must be able to commit to at least
one full day a week, preferably
two.**
We receive an enormous number of

looking for exceptional candidates
who are interested in working in the
film or publishing business. You
must love reading and movies and be
well versed in both. We're looking
for upbeat, energetic people who
take the initiative and are

Sony Music Entertainment Internships
For academic credit
We offer a variety of internships in New York City each semester.
Internships are available in many areas including: Accounting, MIS,
Marketing, A&R, Promotions, Sales, Publicity, Business Affairs, Publishing
and Sony Studios. These internships are for credit only (no pay) and
accepted candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or
university and registered to receive course credit for this internship.
Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome. Please indicate the
