WIMNN Special Events Coordinator
DESCRIPTION:

The Events coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning and successful execution of WIMNN shows and workshops/seminars. Events range in size and scope from local/regional workshops and parties to national and international conferences and events.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining contact/mailing lists, developing communications and event marketing content, administering html and other email announcements through web-based software systems, and online event sites, keeping an outreach and promotions schedule, and working closely with our marketing staff on web and print collateral.

The successful candidate will be adept at communicating clearly and effectively with diverse groups, from internal staff to executive managers, high profile speakers, corporate and foundation sponsors, vendors and contractors.

Exceptional attention to detail, communications skills, customer service orientation and a passion for creating and managing events.

Qualifications:

  • High Speed Internet access required

    • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of program finance management and history of fiscal responsibility.
    • Possess a can-do, client-focused, team player attitude at all times and must be willing to work through the peaks and valleys of the destination management industry.
    • Must be able to manage and direct numerous projects at the same time.
    • Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed to ensure flawless program management and implementation.
    • Must be available 24/7 to clients and PWE staff during program implementation.
