How a Virtual Job Fair Works  
A one-of-a-kind virtual event that creates new opportunities for job seekers in the music and entertainment industries.
 

    The virtual job fair opens to all the sights, sounds and features of a physical job fair.

    Each attendee to the virtual job fair must login by entering an alias.

    Using the arrow-keys on the keyboard, attendees move throughout the exhibit hall, from booth to booth in a dynamic 3D environment.

    Attendees can view company profiles, job descriptions and submit resumes.

  Attendees can move from exhibit hall to exhibit hall by clicking on doorways within each exhibit hall or returning to the main entry page to choose another exhibit hall.

Women in Music National Network is a non- profit 501(c)(3) membership organization designed to promote the recognition of individuals in music/entertainment through services, education and networking resources.

What exactly is a Virtual job fair?

A virtual job fair takes place entirely on the internet giving you the opportunity to seek new employment options, with a variety of different companies--- all in a relaxed environment -- the comfort of your home or office.    One benefit to the attendee is a chance to discover an employment opportunity you may have not known existed.

How much does it cost to attend the job fair?

The Virtual job fair registration is $19.95 - Early Registration by Feb 28th is $14.95

How does a Virtual Job fair work?

Do I need to have a resume?

Yes, if you have one. While certain entry level positions will only require that you fill out an online application, it is still advised that you have a current resume ready to upload to a potential employer.  A current resume will go a long way in showing employers that you are serious about obtaining a position in their company.

How do I connect to the  job fair event?

Go the Job Fair URL and enter your password provided once your RSVP for the event.  Then, simply create an online alias and you're ready to explore the job market.

Can I pre-register to attend the job fair?

Yes --   When you RSVP, we will send you updates of what’s happening the Music & Entertainment industry, provide you with login information for the job fair and enter you in a contest to win prizes.

What kind of jobs are offered at a Music & Entertainment  job fair event?

The types of positions being offered based on the needs and numbers of the participating companies.   All job fair is designed to offer the widest variety of employment opportunities possible from entry level to professional.   This list would and may include record labels, publishing companies, performance rights organizations, film companies, entertainment companies, recording studios, management companies, television programs, radio stations,
retail stores and more.

We recommend that you take the time to visit each booth .You may be surprised to learn about an opportunity that exists and you can forward your resume to the appropriate department seeking your skills.
