The WIMNN Mentoring Program
is designed to facilitate and
promote mentoring relationships among women and men in the music business around the
world. It creates a way for individuals to "give back" by sharing their
wisdom and experience with others. The program matches mentors with individuals
seeking a mentor in their particular field of business. We encourage those of you in
various sectors of music to participate as mentors to help strengthen the growth and
development of the music business globally.
About the
Program
The WIMNN Mentoring Program is a career development tool
that introduces and supports individuals seeking music
industry careers. Our program connects Mentees with
experienced female and male professionals who provide advice,
field questions, and assistance.
Each participant will be assigned to a Mentor and may logon to
our web site from any Internet capable computer to communicate
with their Mentor experienced in their field of interests.
The unique part of our program is that
Mentees will be building a vision and business plan as they
work with their Mentors so that they can complete the program
with a clear direction for their goals.
WIMNN actively recruits Mentors from within its membership
and on the outside to participate in the Mentoring Program. Your years of experience
and expertise can be of great benefit to the organization and its members.
Through
our program, we provide a realistic, comprehensive view of
multiple careers, and assist women in investigating and
understanding those careers.
